Is This You?

Maybe you're the one everyone else leans on, and no one's asked lately how you're actually doing. Maybe saying no still comes with a wave of guilt. Maybe you're carrying old patterns, a relationship, a family dynamic, an old hurt, that keep showing up in new places. Maybe you just want a space that's entirely yours, with no one else's needs in it.

What This Often Looks Like

  • Difficulty setting boundaries without guilt
  • Feeling responsible for everyone else's emotions
  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or feeling stretched too thin
  • Relationship patterns that keep repeating, even when you try to change them

How We Work Together

I bring myself honestly into the room with you, which means you get a real relationship here, not a passive one. My approach is relational psychodynamic and person centered, which means I follow your lead while staying present enough to gently name the patterns I notice, including how you and I relate to each other, since that's often a window into your relationships everywhere else. We build trust deliberately, and once we have it, we go toward the hard stuff together, not around it.

What You Can Expect

This space is yours. Many clients find they begin to:

  • Set boundaries without the guilt spiral that used to follow
  • Feel more like themselves outside of caretaking roles
  • Understand relationship patterns instead of just repeating them
  • Feel truly heard, maybe for the first time in a while

Common Questions

A few things people usually want to know before reaching out. If you don't see your question here, feel free to ask during your free consultation.

I feel guilty even taking time for therapy. Is that normal?

Very. A lot of women carry that guilt, and it's often exactly the kind of pattern worth exploring here, not just pushing through.

What do women usually come to you for?

It ranges widely, boundaries, anxiety, relationship patterns, feeling responsible for everyone else, and sometimes deeper work around trauma or personality patterns. We'll follow what's actually present for you.

Will you actually listen, or just nod along?

I bring myself honestly into the room, which means real engagement, not passive nodding. You'll know I'm actually with you in the conversation.

How is this different from venting to a friend?

A friend can listen, but I bring clinical training and a level of honesty a friendship usually can't hold, including naming patterns you might not see yourself.

I don't have a big trauma story. Is this still worth it?

Yes. You don't need a dramatic story to deserve support. Feeling overwhelmed, stretched too thin, or disconnected from yourself is more than reason enough.
