Is This You?

Maybe you're a graphic designer, photographer, or videographer running your own business, and the line between your work and your identity has basically disappeared. Maybe creative block feels like more than a rough patch, it feels like something's actually wrong. Maybe the hustle of small business ownership has quietly become burnout. I'm a creative myself, so I'm not guessing at any of this.

What This Often Looks Like

  • Creative block that feels tied to something deeper than a busy season
  • Burnout from running your own creative business
  • Imposter syndrome, even after real success
  • Identity feeling fused with your work, so criticism of the work feels personal

How We Work Together

I bring myself honestly into the room, and as a fellow creative, I understand the specific pressure of building a career where your output is also your identity. My approach is relational psychodynamic and person centered, which means we go at your pace, but we don't avoid the real issue, whether that's burnout, block, old patterns, or the exhausting math of running a creative business alone. The relationship itself becomes a steady place to untangle where you end and the work begins.

Why Work With Me

A lot of what's marketed to creatives is built around courses, coaching programs, or apps that rotate you between different providers. That's not this. You'll see me, consistently, session after session, and get an actual relationship, not a rotating cast or a chatbot. I'm not a business coach either, I care about your output, but I care more about you, the person behind it. And because I'm a creative myself, I'm not starting from scratch trying to understand what this work actually asks of you.

What You Can Expect

Many creative clients find they begin to:

  • Separate their self worth from their output
  • Find their way back through creative block
  • Set boundaries around work that actually stick
  • Feel like a whole person again, not just a business

Common Questions

A few things people usually want to know before reaching out. If you don't see your question here, feel free to ask during your free consultation.

Do you actually understand what it's like to run a creative business?

Yes, I'm a creative myself, which shapes how I understand the specific pressures of this work, the identity fusion, the inconsistency, the exposure that comes with putting your work out publicly.

What kinds of creatives do you typically work with?

Mostly graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and small business owners in creative fields, though this work fits anyone whose identity is closely tied to their creative output.

Can therapy actually help with creative block?

Often, yes, especially when the block is tied to something deeper, burnout, perfectionism, fear of judgment. We look at what's actually underneath it, not just push through.

I don't think I have a mental health issue, I'm just burned out. Is this still for me?

Absolutely. You don't need a diagnosis to benefit from this work. Burnout on its own is more than reason enough to want support.

Is this different from a business coach?

Yes. A coach focuses on strategy and output. I focus on you, the person behind the business, which often ends up supporting the business too, just from a different angle.
